First and third Mondays of each month from 8-11 pm. Musicians, singers and audience welcome.

Evening Fee

A hat collection is held on guest nights and a contribution of £7 (£5 concessions) is suggested.

Mon 5 November 2018 – Two’s Company

Two’s Company (Alice Baillie and David Jenkinson) are a Yorkshire-based acoustic folk duo. They perform a variety of traditional and original songs and tunes, from and inspired by the folk tradition of the British Isles, accompanied by flute, guitar and cello-mandolin. Two’s Company

 

Mon 19 Nov 2018 – John Ward Trio

Based in East Anglia, John, Lynne & Les sing John’s own and traditional songs in three-part harmony, accompanied by guitar, double bass, mandolin, harmonica, whistles and bodhran. John Ward Trio

 

 

Mon 3 Dec 2018 – Bob Kenward

With his fine singing of traditional and self-penned songs and skilled guitar accompaniment, Bob can command a good audience anywhere. Songs of Kent, railways and humorous ones feature, he is a resident of the club but this is your chance to hear him do a full set. Bob Kenward

 

 

Mon 17 Dec 2018 – The Nonesuch Mummers

Seasonal plays an frolics from this group who also number fine singers. Come and enjoy this prelude to the festive season.

 

 

Mon 7 Jan 2019 – Hook Line & Sinker

A mix of traditional & contemporary folk song in three part harmony from these three ladies with lovely voices, who made such a good impact at Broadstairs Folk Week this year.

Mon 21 Jan 2019 – The Jones Boys

Welcome return to the club for this duo from East Kent with an eclectic collection of songs accompanied by squeeze box and strings.
