IMPRESSED perform sea songs, including shanties, and also more reflective or humorous songs, both from the tradition and from contemporary sources.They sing a cappella as well as accompanied by a variety of instruments, and are noted for their rousing chorus songs, inviting audience participation.
Roger Resch (vocals & accordion) Roger is an organiser of Tonbridge Folk Club (Kent). For years he has had bookings on the Kent / Sussex folk circuit both individually and with Bob Kenward as the “Wealden Ramblers”. Roger also guests for local folk festivals. His strong voice and accordion accompaniments are supported by a wide repertoire of songs and tunes.
Liz Randall (vocals, accordion, concertina, autoharp & whistle) Liz also is a long-term performer in ensembles around the Kent / Sussex folk scene. She is a former resident of Tonbridge Folk Club, who has performed as a guest for East Anglian maritime festivals. Although Liz plays mainly whistle and accordion in IMPRESSED, she plays other instruments as well.
